P.S don't use sync mate plus, its a rip off, i tried it and didn't work for me at all. Hope this information helps anyone going through this, if you have any solutions on my issues please do share, thanks. Another issue I experience, not being able to get photos out of my sync manger gallery, if it is not one issue it is another, i must make a major decision on what route to take now, i cannot keep dealing with this, unless apple and HTC come together and come up with a brilliant idea, we pay over $700 for their phones and we get issues, not fair. I have a Mac desktop, and i own a htc 10, i will hate to switch to an iPhone just because they experience a lot of battery life problems, freezing, slow processing speeds, etc. Have you tried using the HTC Sync Manager, download it from HTC on to your Mac, your mac will say that the content cannot be open because it is from a third party (not mac) allow access from your security settings, open the download click install, once the app is on your menu bar you have to manually open it by clicking on the control key and selecting the app then scroll to open, that will by pass the security settings configured in MAC, once the app opens, connect your phone, adjust your settings accordingly, the problem i have now is updating the software every time i click on update it downloads but never updates. HTC is very complicated to configure with MAC OS, their are ways to manage your phone, i have experienced many of the problems, found some helpful tips, but at the end you will always have an issue again. I don't know what the problem is but if I took a guess I would say that for some reason my phone just isn't connecting to the MacBook Pro when I plug it in. When I go to the bluetooth settings on my laptop, it just says the Bluetooth PAN is not connected and it won't connect.Īll I am trying to do is transfer some iTunes songs from my MacBook Pro to my HTC One phone, which I have done once before but I cannot rememeber how I did it the first time. I paired my phone and my macbook, but when I go to share a file it says that the device (my HTC One) would not accept the file. The next thing I thought of was using bluetooth to just share the music files. That ended up not working, and so I tried doubletwist and that didn't work. Battery life and management, Many but not. I tried using HTC Sync Manager so i could transfer my iTunes music to my phone like I did when I first got my phone. The phone needs to be jailbroken if you want to download apps from other stores. I have used differert USB cords, different USB ports, nothing has worked. I have tried restarting both the laptop and the phone. I have been trying to connect my HTC One to my macbook pro, when i plug in my phone it doesnt have anything pop-up.
